The Business Operations team is focused on solving some of Plaid's most pressing business issues. We are a small team of individuals with complementary skill sets. This role will partner directly with Plaid’s Payments team, a cross-functional team with a mission is to harness Plaid’s network—spanning coverage, intelligence, and conversion—to deliver seamless, secure, and intelligent payment experiences for customers.  In this role, you will work collaboratively across Product, Go-To-Market, Partnerships and Ops teams on a variety of strategic initiatives with a direct and quantifiable impact on our customers, partners, and P&L. You will  perform critical data analysis to help inform our strategy and operations, and own many of the day-to-day processes that ensure the business is meeting its goals.  The role requires someone who is highly analytical and strategic, approaches problems in a structured manner, and is comfortable with ambiguity. Responsibilities
  • Partner directly with our Transfer/ Money Movement team (a pod within Payments), serving as the primary stakeholder to that team and working across both strategic and operational initiatives.  
  • Own foundational work across all of Payments PA, such as monthly business reports, OKR tracking and updating, and QBR/ recurring reporting. 
  • Build out key metrics, tracking, and dashboards to support Payments initiatives + drive relevant behavior changes as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our operations across the PA and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement them.
  • Initiate, manage, and successfully execute new, cross-functional initiatives that increase alignment.
  • Partner with other teams and functions to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance.
  • Qualifications
  • 2-3 years in management consulting or investment banking.
  • 1-2 years operating experience (BizOps or Strategy and Ops at an earlier stage company) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Tableau is a major plusKnowledge of how to leverage AI tools in workloads a plus
  • Direct experience with Finance / Tech
  • Experience with operational improvement projects
