About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Operations and HR Assistant to join our Operations department in Spain. This is a permanent position that plays a key role in supporting both the HR and business operations functions of the company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HR systems, onboarding/offboarding processes, and cross-functional operations within a fast-paced tech startup environment.
Responsibilities:
Support HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management.
Maintain and update HR systems (such as BambooHR) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Assist with operational tasks related to day-to-day business functions.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth internal operations and workflow.
Help in organizing HR documentation, contracts, and employee communications.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives across HR and Operations.
Provide administrative support for the HR and Operations leadership team.
Minimum 1 year of experience working with BambooHR or similar HR software systems.
Experience in a tech startup environment.
Understanding of HR processes such as onboarding and offboarding.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Bonus Points:
Experience in administrative support for international teams.
Knowledge of employment law in Europe
Interest in HR technology and operations optimization.
