Business Operations Analyst (REF4753J)

Department and Project 

This position is within the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic road-charging solutions. Together with our partners, we develop and operate intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering the entire business process (vehicle registrations, country booking, providing On-Board Units, position data transmission, charge calculation, and fleet billing). Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology, our tolling solutions facilitate seamless mobility across Europe. The team aims to enhance existing services and expand into new domains. As part of an international team collaborating with T-Systems International, you will play a key role in supporting our customers with cutting-edge tolling solutions. 

Main tasks 

As a Business Operations Analyst you are

• Ensuring correct and timely data processing, billing, collection and disbursement activities for Multiple Tolling Customers and Toll Chargers
• Validating invoices and Payment requests for Sales-Partners, End-Customers and Service Providers
• Answering questions related to billing activities
• Monitoring of all operational tasks in progress 
• Analyze problems raised by customers or production support, find and implement a solution (mostly in an emergency / crisis context with high pressure, stress and quick results expectation)
• Propose & analyze application improvements (performance, robustness …)
• Coordinate changes with development and testing

Background and required skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in financials or in absence of degree equivalent professional experience and financial trainings.
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Team player with high degree of attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly new tools and systems
• Good understanding of the software development cycle (change procedures)

Advantage

• Master's degree or equivalent diploma in at least one of the followings in financials or in absence of degree equivalent professional experience and financial trainings;
• Always tries to understand the “bigger picture”,
• Understanding of Data Protection and GDPR implications on the business,
• Knowledge of JIRA,
• Experience with Agile methodology,
• Ability to prepare test plan and contribute to the test strategy definition,
• Accounting knowledge and Banking knowledge
• Understanding of the Payment Service Provider business and control
• Experience in internal controls in finance or finance tech environment
• Advanced Excel VBA / Advanced SQL and Database knowledge
• Knowledge or at least a strong interest for the financial flow
