➡️ About the Opportunity Our client is launching an events production entity across North American markets to create a live entertainment business. We're seeking aBusiness Leadto drive customer acquisition, optimize performance marketing, and lead operational execution as we launch our first shows.   • Project Management
  • Own project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across marketing, production, and operations workstreams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders: concept creation, business modeling, media buying, data analytics, operations and production.
  • Build operational playbooks and systems that enable repeatable, scalable show production across markets.
  • Report directly to leadership on progress, risks, and key decisions requiring escalation.

  • Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition
  • Design and execute paid marketing campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic, and emerging channels.
  • Optimize performance: manage budgets ($500K+ annually), CAC targets, conversion funnels, and ROAS across shows and markets.
  • Leverage fan database for audience segmentation, lookalike targeting, pre-sale validation, and demand forecasting.
  • Build and test creative strategies: ad formats, messaging frameworks, audience personas, and channel mix by event format.
  • Implement attribution and tracking infrastructure to measure customer journey from awareness to ticket purchase.
  • Own marketing KPIs and weekly reporting: spend efficiency, fill rates, customer acquisition trends, cohort performance, and LTV modeling.

  • Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
  • Build dashboards and reporting frameworks for marketing performance, show economics, and operational health metrics.
  • Analyze unit economics at the show level: ticket revenue, venue costs, talent expenses, marketing spend, contribution margin, and break-even thresholds.
  • Develop financial models and scenario planning tools: impact of pricing changes, occupancy variations, cost structures, and scale assumptions.
  • Identify optimization opportunities through data: which formats drive best margins, which markets show strongest demand signals, what creative performs, when to cancel vs. proceed.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence analysis: track live entertainment competitors on pricing, formats, marketing tactics, and customer reviews.
  • Provide data-driven strategic recommendations to inform expansion decisions, format prioritization, budget allocation, and gating criteria.

  • Required Background
  • Strategic consulting experience (2-4 years) at top-tier firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte S&O, Strategy&, etc.).
  • Post-consulting corporate experience (2-4 years) in large organization:
  • Film/entertainment production (studio project management, content development, release coordination)
    Video game development/publishing (product launch, live ops, player acquisition, monetization)
    Consumer technology (product management, growth marketing, analytics)
  • Advanced degree: MBA from top program OR MS in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
  • Total experience: 5-10 years professional experience combining consulting + industry.
  • English fluency: Native or fully fluent (C2 level) – must be comfortable presenting to executives and negotiating with vendors.

  • Technical & Analytical Skills
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets: financial modeling, scenario analysis, complex formulas, pivot tables.
  • SQL proficiency: ability to query databases, join tables, and extract insights from large datasets.
  • BI tools experience: Tableau, Looker, Mode, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms.
  • Performance marketing platforms: hands-on experience with Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, analytics tools.
  • Data analysis frameworks: comfortable with cohort analysis, funnel optimization, A/B testing, statistical significance.

  • Entrepreneurial & Operational Skills
  • Project management excellence: proven ability to launch complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from 0→1.
  • Bias toward action: thrives in ambiguous environments, makes decisions with incomplete information, iterates quickly.

  • Schedule: 40 hours, except in July and August when we switch to 36 hours with “Summer Fridays” (no work in the afternoon!).
