We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our data analytics department, you will play a crucial role in extracting insights from large volumes of data, driving data-driven decision-making, and contributing to strategic initiatives across multiple countries (MY/AU/PH/SG). The successful candidate will be responsible for data visualization, resolving data quality issues, implementing data automation solutions, automating report generation, and incorporating artificial intelligence into workflows and staying up to date with the current technologies . Your expertise will be pivotal in automation processes, generating actionable insights, and effectively communicating findings through presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, verify, and enter data from various internal systems (e.g., sales platforms, inventory systems, CRM)
  • Support product upload and update workflows in coordination with merchandising or marketing teams.
  • Maintain accuracy of key datasets including product listings, pricing, SKU performance, and channel-specific data
  • Design, build, and maintain performance dashboards and reports across all departments.
  • Consolidate and analyze data from e-commerce (Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, TikTok Shop) and retail channels.
  • Automate recurring reports and streamline manual data workflows.
  • Perform in-depth analyses of customer behavior, product sales, campaign ROI, and operations.
  • Develop forecasts for sales, inventory, and marketing performance using historical and predictive models.
  • Translate insights into business recommendations to improve efficiency and growth.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across systems and platforms.
  • Support ETL processes and collaborate with data engineers on scalable pipelines.
  • Document data sources, definitions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Partner with marketing, finance, product, and operations to align data efforts with business goals.
  • Help define KPIs and success metrics at both campaign and strategic levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in Data Analysis, Data Visualization, and Data Automation. 
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, JavaScript and visualization tools like Tableau. 
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques and Artificial intelligence implementations. 
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve workflows.
