Business Intelligence Analyst

Plat.AI Armenia is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst who thrives at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business strategy. This is a highly impactful role at an early-stage consumer lending marketplace where data drives everything, from lender matching and funnel performance to partner optimization and growth strategy. You will work closely with leadership, data science, and partnerships teams to build the data infrastructure, analyze performance trends, and generate insights that guide key business decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond basic reporting and own the full lifecycle of data, from ingestion and modeling to dashboards and executive insights.

🕓 Working Schedule: 4:00 PM – 01:00 AM Yerevan time, onsite (aligned with New York time)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Experience with Python for data analysis and automation
• Experience working with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Experience manipulating large datasets and building analytical data models
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into business insights

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in fintech, lending, or marketplace businesses
• Experience working with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)
• Familiarity with machine learning models or experimentation frameworks
• Experience supporting growth analytics, marketplace optimization, or credit analytics
• Startup experience or comfort working in fast-moving environments

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights:

• Analyze large datasets to identify marketplace performance trends, yield, opportunities, and risks
• Build analytical frameworks around key metrics such as lead quality, approval rates, lender conversion, and revenue performance
• Perform root cause analysis on performance changes across traffic sources, lenders, or borrower segments
• Translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations for leadership

Data Infrastructure & Engineering:

• Build and maintain data pipelines and structured datasets used across the business
• Work with engineering/data science teams to ensure clean data ingestion and event tracking
• Design scalable data models and tables to support reporting and analytics
• Maintain and optimize internal data warehouses and analytics environments

Business Intelligence & Reporting:

• Develop dashboards and reports using Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools
• Build automated reporting for internal stakeholders, clients, and for the COO
• Monitor core KPIs such as application conversion, funding rates, partner performance, earnings per lead, and other customer acquisition metrics
• Support COO and operational reporting

Modeling & Experimentation:

• Work with data scientists and product teams to evaluate performance of models and decision systems
• Support A/B testing, funnel optimization, and marketplace performance experiments
• Analyze credit segments, lender response behavior, and match optimization
