About the Role

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll join Pacaso's data team reporting to the Principal Data Architect. You'll own the analytics strategy for key business areas, delivering customer insights and performance analytics to stakeholders across Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Product. You'll shape how the organization uses data to inform business strategy and drive action on Pacaso's strategic priorities.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the design and development of analytics solutions that address complex business questions
  • Build and maintain reliable data pipelines by integrating, cleaning, and transforming data from multiple sources
  • Partner with senior leadership to define KPIs and measurement frameworks for strategic initiatives
  • Define and operationalize the detailed tracking of company-wide, team-specific, and product-specific performance metrics via dashboards and automated reporting
  • Translate complex data into actionable business recommendations and present findings to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Analyze business performance data and provide actionable insights to measure the impact of strategic initiatives
  • Identify trends and patterns across customer segments to inform growth strategies and business planning
  • Proactively identify opportunities where data can drive business value, not just respond to requests
  • Support the adoption of analytic products through effective storytelling and collaboration with key partners
  • Leverage AI tools and LLMs to accelerate analytics development and improve workflow efficiency
  • Document and maintain business intelligence tools and products.

Skills/Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field
  • Expert level SQL querying skills and database knowledge
  • Expertise with modern BI platforms (Tableau, Metabase, AWS, dbt, VCS) and cloud data technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and business metrics
  • Solid foundation in statistical concepts and analytical methods for identifying trends, patterns, and business drivers
  • Track record of influencing business decisions through data storytelling at the executive level
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and aligning stakeholders around data-driven recommendations
  • Experience using AI and LLM tools to enhance analytical workflows
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python or R) a plus
  • Experience in real estate, proptech, or hospitality industries a plus
  • Experience with operational analytics, including capacity planning, workforce forecasting, and support efficiency metrics a plus
