In this role, you will work closely with our PS team to design, build, and maintain Looker dashboards and reports that surface actionable insights for our clients and internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong SQL fluency, comfort in Google Cloud Platform including Biqquery and Cloud Console, LookML development experience, and a working understanding of SEO data and organic search performance. How you'll spend your time:
  • Develop and maintain Looker reports, dashboards, and explores using LookML
  • Write performant SQL queries against BigQuery and other GCP data sources
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing Looker legacy queries/dashboards for performance and accuracy
  • Collaborate with Professional Services team members to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions
  • Build and document reusable LookML models, views, and dimensions
  • Develop reports around SEO metrics including keyword rankings, share of voice, impressions, clicks, and site health signals
  • Developing and support in maintaining existing documentation on Looker reports and dashboards
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain data quality standards and ensure consistency across reporting assets
  • We're excited about you if you have:
  • 4-8 years of experience in a BI, data analytics, or related role
  • Proficiency in LookML development within Looker (Looker Studio experience is not a substitute)
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery
  • Working knowledge of SEO & GEO metrics and data, including organic search performance, keyword rankings, impressions/clicks, and site health signals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a contractor capacity
  • Nice to have:
     
    • Prior experience with BrightEdge platform data or similar enterprise SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs)
    • Experience supporting a SaaS Professional Services or customer success team
    • Experience with dbt or other data modeling tools
