What is Business Development Specialist?
A Business Development Specialist drives growth by managing partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and aligning internal teams to deliver long-term business value.

The role reports directly to Business Development Manager.

What does Business Development Specialist do?

• Manage and nurture existing strategic partnerships
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends and the competitive landscape
• Support revenue generation through opportunity identification and follow-ups
• Align closely with the delivery team on ongoing projects and client engagements
• Track partner performance and ensure commitments are being met
• Identify gaps and propose enhancements to strengthen partner value
• Prepare insights and reports to guide business and partnership decisions
• Coordinate internally to ensure smooth execution of partnership initiatives
• Maintain clear communication between partners and delivery teams
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning for partnerships and business growth.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Business Development Specialist?

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Knowledge of business development, partner coordination, and market research
• Preferably experience in sales, pre-sales
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage routine stakeholder interactions and ensure smooth execution of ongoing projects

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present clearly and confidently
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and partners
• Basic understanding of business development, partnerships, or technology services (even through coursework or internships)
• Ability to conduct research, analyze information, and create simple reports or presentations.
