Overview
NorthStar Care is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to help expand our market presence and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building relationships with key stakeholders, conducting market research, and identifying potential business opportunities. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.
This position is remote and reports directly to the Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities
RESEARCH – Conduct market research and identify potential business opportunities in the addiction treatment and virtual healthcare space.
OUTREACH - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, including medical professionals, treatment centers, payers, and other strategic partners.
NEGOTIATE – Negotiate business agreements and contracts in collaboration with legal and executive teams.
TRACK – Monitor and report on market trends, competitive activities, and industry developments.
Requirements
- EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- EXPERIENCE - Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles. Experience in the healthcare or addiction treatment industry is a plus.
- COMMUNICATION – Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deliver compelling presentations and negotiate with key stakeholders.
- RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING - Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals.
- ANALYTICAL – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze market data and identify business opportunities.
- SELF-MOTIVATED – Highly self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and meet targets and deadlines.
- TECHNICAL – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using CRM software is a plus.
