We’re looking for a driven and organised Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will play a key part in generating net-new business opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting, while also supporting our Field Sales Representatives with essential administrative and pipeline activities.

As a Business Development Representative your key responsibilities will include:

Business Development

  • ​Targeted Outbound Prospecting: Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within defined target markets and territories through high-volume cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling.
  • ​Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing efforts to determine suitability for field sales engagement (BANT criteria: Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline).
  • ​Discovery & Needs Assessment: Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand prospects' current challenges, business needs, and alignment with our solutions.
  • ​Pipeline Generation: Book qualified first-meeting appointments and demonstrations for Field Sales Representatives, ensuring smooth handoff and comprehensive context.
  • ​CRM Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all prospecting and qualification activities in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring a clean and up-to-date lead database.

Field Sales & Pipeline Support

  • ​Pipeline Administration: Assist Field Sales Representatives with day-to-day administrative tasks, including updating opportunity stages, ensuring data integrity, and scheduling follow-up activities in the CRM.
  • ​Proposal Coordination: Work closely with Field Reps and other internal teams (e.g., Legal, Finance) to draft, format, and prepare professional sales proposals, quotes, and contract documentation.
  • ​Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular pipeline reports for assigned territories to help Field Reps track progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and forecast sales effectively.
  • ​Presentation Support: Prepare and format standard sales presentations, case studies, and collateral needed for client meetings.

What makes you, you...

As a Business Development Representative you will have the follow experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in a Sales, Business Development, or Sales Development role, with a strong emphasis on outbound prospecting.
  • ​Proven ability to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for qualified appointments and pipeline generation.
  • ​Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette and persuasive writing.
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written) is essential for this role.
  • ​High proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • ​Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially in document creation and data management.
  • ​A self-starter with a strong work ethic, high energy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
