As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at akirolabs, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our procurement software solutions. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers, creating meaningful connections, and generating leads for our sales team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients, including mid-sized and enterprise-level businesses. Utilize various channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media, to initiate contact and create interest in our procurement software.
Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their specific procurement challenges and needs. Qualify leads based on budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT) criteria to ensure efficient utilization of sales resources.
Solution Presentation: Effectively communicate the value proposition of our procurement software to potential clients. Tailor your approach to address the unique pain points and requirements of each prospect.
Activity Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and prospects in our CRM system. Continuously nurture leads and convert them into opportunities.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and contribute to the development of effective lead generation campaigns.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Sales and Prospecting Skills: Some experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, ideally in the SaaS or software industry. You should be comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both German and English. You should be able to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with SaaS solutions and procurement processes is a plus. You should be comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools.
Self-Motivated: A proactive and results-driven mindset is essential. You should be able to work independently, set and achieve targets, and adapt to a dynamic startup environment.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide valuable input to the sales and marketing strategies.
Curiosity: Deep desire to understand the big picture behind each prospect’s individual situation.
