The Business Development Representative III plays a crucial role in expanding the organization’s sales pipeline by generating and qualifying advanced leads, as well as collaborating with sales leadership. This position requires substantial knowledge of business development practices and involves independently managing complex outreach strategies to drive engagement and conversion. The role contributes to team and departmental objectives by refining prospecting techniques, supporting account-based strategies, and aligning activities with sales and marketing priorities.
Responsibilities:
Independently identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities through multiple prospecting methods, including calls, emails, social media, and research-based outreach.
Manage and qualify inbound and outbound leads, exercising sound judgment to determine fit and readiness for sales engagement.
Conduct detailed account research and customize outreach strategies to align with target account objectives.
Partner with account executives to refine account strategies, improve lead handoff efficiency, and optimize conversion outcomes.
Provide actionable insights to marketing teams on campaign effectiveness and segment performance.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and lead progression in CRM systems, analyzing trends to inform ongoing improvements.
Essential Functions:

Apply advanced product and market knowledge to identify and engage potential customers.
Communicate professionally and effectively with internal stakeholders and external prospects.
Manage and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads through CRM and reporting tools.

Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales engagement technologies; ability to manage large volumes of outreach while maintaining quality.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make informed recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving business needs.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and activity-based performance goals.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Typically requires a minimum of 4–6 years of related experience in business development, inside sales, or a comparable role.
