At Formstack, we are looking for a motivated and driven Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to help accelerate our growth. This is a pivotal role focused on identifying potential customers and creating meaningful connections that lead to new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach:
Proactively identify and prospect potential clients or business partners. Utilize a variety of outreach methods including email, phone, social media, and events to initiate conversations and build a strong sales pipeline.
Find & Qualify Leads:
Prospect into accounts to identify the right contacts and uncover potential opportunities. Engage with these leads to qualify them, ensuring they align with Formstack’s solutions and are a good fit based on their needs and challenges.
Sales Collaboration:
Partner closely with the sales team to transition qualified meetings and opportunities, ensuring smooth handoffs and collaboration for successful outcomes.
CRM Management:
Regularly update and maintain CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) with accurate data, notes, and follow-up tasks to track progress and drive efficiency.
Feedback Loop:
Share insights and observations from your outreach efforts with product and marketing teams to help refine strategies, product offerings, and messaging.
Meet & Exceed Targets:
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for meetings set, opportunities / pipeline created.
Continuous Learning:
Stay on top of industry news, competitor products, and emerging trends to refine your outreach techniques and enhance your ability to connect with prospects.
Basic Qualification
- Proven success in generating leads and consistently meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Prior experience in outbound sales, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach.io, and LinkedIn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly understand Formstack’s product offerings and clearly communicate their value to potential clients.
- Self-starter with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
- Agile and adaptable in fast-paced, changing environments.
- Able to quickly adjust to new priorities or processes as they arise.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary range: $55,000 - $60,000 USD base salary per year, plus access to performance based commission.
