What will you be doing?

As a Senior Business Development Representative, your role is to proactively drive high‑quality pipeline creation through advanced prospecting, strategic cold outreach, and deep qualification. You’ll identify organizations’ current and future IT challenges to help match AvePoint products and support services to those needs. This role is ideal for an experienced BDR who consistently exceeds targets, operates with a high degree of autonomy, and is ready to take on a more strategic position within the EMEA sales organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively research, identify, and qualify potential customer organizations and prospects, using a structured, insight-led approach
  • Lead sophisticated outbound prospecting and multi-touch campaigns tailored to customer context, industry, and maturity
  • Utilize a data-centric approach such as but not limited to marketing metrics, to inform and shape approach and ensure KPI attainment
  • Positioning AvePoint effectively to facilitate a high conversion of leads to qualified pipeline opportunities by executing and communicating effective product and solution-based messaging by uncovering business, technical and organizational challenges
  • Partner closely with sales account executives to help shape territory strategy, prioritize accounts, and improve conversion rates
  • Maintaining accurate and high-quality data in the CRM system, ensuring visibility and forecast reliability

Other qualities you’ll need to be a fit for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 2-4+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or a comparable role
  • Prior cold calling experience
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline and activity targets
  • Strong ability to engage senior stakeholders and adapt messaging to different audiences
  • Excellent communication, discovery, and active listening skills
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and managing complex prospecting cycles
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and value propositions
  • Amenable to work EMEA time shift (typically 3PM-12MN PH Time)
