Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and curious Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a pivotal role in expanding DataXstream’s pipeline and revenue growth. In this role, you will introduce our cutting-edge OMS+ solution to new mid-market and enterprise customers. Acting as the first point of contact, you will engage senior leaders across IT, operations, and finance, leveraging a multi-channel outreach strategy to generate and qualify high-quality opportunities for our sales team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and clearly articulate the DataXstream value proposition and solutions.
  • Leverage data and account insights to identify, pursue and connect with prospects, conduct in depth discovery calls to determine need and willingness to have further discussions with Sales.
  • Develop POV profiles for top target prospect companies and conduct discovery conversations to identify business challenges and assess alignment with OMS+.
  • Generate and qualify leads to create Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to drive opportunity pipeline for the DataXstream Sales team.
  • Build and maintain a prospect pipeline within our HubSpot CRM system and continuously add and develop new prospect accounts within your assigned target accounts, territory or defined scope.
  • Utilize tools like Funl, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo and other resources as needed to maintain prospect pipelines.
  • Craft personalized outreach across email, phone, and social channels to connect with C-suite and/or senior decision-makers.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Marketing to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, contacts, and outcomes in HubSpot CRM.
  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and demo requests, ensuring a smooth lead handoff.
  • Continuously learn and improve by incorporating feedback, industry insights, and performance analytics.


What Success Looks Like (Monthly Metrics)

  • 2-3 MQLs generated and passed to Sales
  • 2-4 qualified meetings scheduled with target accounts
  • 200 outbound calls to target contacts
  • Research and develop POV profiles for 20 new SAP-based companies each month
  • Add 4 contacts per company (80 contacts added/month)
  • Maintain 20 active accounts with ongoing sequences
  • Aim for 2-4 qualified meetings/month from this focused work
  • Maintain CRM hygiene, with all activities and notes logged in HubSpot
  • Consistent follow-up on all inbound leads within 24 hours


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of B2B Business Development or Sales Development experience, preferably in SaaS or technology environments.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed pipeline generation goals.
  • Experience prospecting to enterprise-level accounts and engaging senior decision-makers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including email and phone outreach.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
