We are hiring a Business Development Representative to help drive new opportunities and build a pipeline for our Account Executives.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their sales career who wants to learn modern SaaS selling, work in a high-growth environment, and build a path toward becoming an Account Executive.

What you will do

As a BDR at SCW.AI, your primary mission is to create qualified sales opportunities.

You will:

  • Identify and research pharmaceutical and life sciences manufacturers
  • Prospect new accounts using email, phone, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Run outbound campaigns to generate interest and meetings
  • Qualify inbound marketing leads
  • Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in CRM
  • Work closely with marketing and Account Executives to refine messaging and targeting

You will report to the Sales Director and collaborate closely with Marketing and Executive teams.

This role is open to candidates based in North America (preferably on the East Coast) and working remotely. Candidates must be able to work primarily within Eastern Time (ET) business hours.

Success in this role is clear and measurable:

  • Meetings booked with qualified prospects
  • Pipeline generated for the sales team
  • Consistent outbound activity and follow-up
  • CRM hygiene and reporting accuracy

Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based commission tied to meetings generated and pipeline contribution

What success looks like in 6 months

  • You confidently run outbound sequences and messaging
  • You understand our ideal customer profile and buyer personas
  • You consistently hit or exceed meeting targets
  • You are seen as a trusted partner by Account Executives
  • You are on a clear path toward promotion to Account Executive

This role is designed as an entry point into a long-term sales career at SCW.AI, with a clear development path toward an Account Executive position based on performance.


What you need to be successful

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with cold outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Organized, self-motivated, and resilient
  • Interest in technology, SaaS, and industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Experience using CRM tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus

A specific degree is not required. We care about drive, curiosity, and coachability.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa support.

  • HubSpot CRM to manage activity, outreach, and pipeline
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo.io for account research and lead sourcing
  • HubSpot Sales Engagement tools for email sequencing and outreach
  • Marketing campaigns and content to support prospecting efforts
