Your mission

Role Overview
Based out of Boston, you’ll be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities for a fast-growing sports technology company. Your Responsibilities
  • Research, identify, and qualify inbound and outbound leads across professional teams, collegiate programs, sports performance facilities, and academies.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand performance, analytics, and technology needs.
  • Articulate product value clearly, linking features to practical sports-science outcomes.
  • Maintain a high-quality pipeline in the CRM and ensure accurate activity tracking.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities and support deal progression.
  • Assist in market mapping, segmentation, and targeting strategies.
  • Represent the company at conferences, showcases, and industry events in the Boston area and beyond.
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on conversations with coaches, trainers, sports-science staff, and performance directors.
  • Stay current on trends in sports tech, biomechanics, athlete monitoring, wearables, and data analytics.

Your profile

Requirements
  • Boston-based or willing to relocate to Boston
  • Bachelor’s degree in sports science, kinesiology, exercise physiology, sports management, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of sales or customer-facing experience (SDR, inside sales, coaching with recruiting responsibilities, or similar).
  • Understanding of sports-science principles (e.g., athlete monitoring, strength & conditioning concepts, biomechanics, recovery science).
  • Strong communication skills—clear, confident, and comfortable speaking with high-performance staff.
  • Ability to manage high outreach volume while maintaining quality and professionalism.
  • Growth mindset with interest in advancing into full-cycle sales.
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms (HubSpot) and outreach tools.
Desirables
  • Experience working with sports-tech platforms (wearables, GPS, tracking, force plates, analytics).
  • Understanding of performance workflows within collegiate, pro, or elite environments.
  • Previous involvement in competitive athletics or coaching.
  • Prior experience booking meetings for a sales team in a tech environment.
