Strategic Planning
Identify and develop new market opportunities, and makes recommendations based on emerging trends, opportunities, and threats.
Own the supply plan for the designated region to meet the business plan and goals.
Responsible for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization, and market share improvement.
Manages and maintains long-term and Transient inventories, updated knowledge of industry trends and periodic market research.
Act as the organization’s first-level manager to promote positive relationships and strong partnerships with bus operators for the benefit of the organization.
Develop unique ways to grow the business with your customer and provide solutions to management in the face of challenges.
Focus on the betterment and revenue maximization of small and mid-size Operators.
Operational Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible to manage the existing universe of Bus Operators and increase the funnel of supply by adding new Bus operator sign-ups.
Responsible to maintain a high percentage of transactional operators(active) and keep track of trends in the movement from Active to Inactive and vice-versa.
Identify the uncharted territory for E-retailing of the offline operators.
Responsible to maintain and improving assigned portfolio GMV as per monthly and quarterly AOP.
Negotiating better margins/commissions with the Bus Operators.
Responsible to generate ancillary revenues through up selling the bundle of Paytm travel products.
Engage Bus operators and increase participation in the Paytm marketplace by effectively promoting all seller-side products/platforms.
Relationship building and Liaison with RTC in the region and onboard them on the Paytm platform.
Should be up to date with the market knowledge of intercity bus travel and ensure that all opportunities to grow Paytm’s market share are tapped.
Active participation in review with the Customer support team, Finance, Recon, Growth, Product & Tech for New product development, market share data & competitor analysis.
Address and resolve all escalated customer issues and continuously work towards improving NPS for the region.
Tracking the team KPIs and KRA and reviewing them on a Weekly and monthly basis.
Active involvement in analysing the data to make the RCA and bring new insights to create an edge.
Enable a feedback loop that covers the market intelligence and the area of Improvement in the process, product, and offerings.
Key skills required for the role:
Good Key account management and negotiation skills.
Interested/willing to travel extensively in the assigned State / Territory
Effective communication skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
An inclination for numbers and analytics & very strong people management
