Location: Alberta, Canada (Fully Remote - However, in-person attendance at events and client meetings will be required)

Role Overview:
We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to develop a new territory in the Canadian market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our presence across key verticals—especially within the non-profit sector or Microsoft solution landscape.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the non-profit sector or Microsoft solution ecosystem
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and clients
  • Understand customer needs and position appropriate Microsoft products and solutions
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver tailored proposals and presentations
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure
  • Track and report on pipeline development, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in business development / sales in a B2B environment
  • Strong background in selling Microsoft products (e.g., M365, Azure, Dynamics)
    OR hands-on experience working with or selling to the non-profit sector
  • Thorough understanding of IT solutions and consultative selling approaches
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian market dynamics and the competitive landscape in the NFP sector
  • Legal working rights
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce will be an added bonus
