This is a role with our latest product, ShopBack Pay, a new initiative that helps customer earns Cashback in the offline/online world.
Your Adventure Ahead
Own and drive SMB growth: Execute ShopBack’s SMB merchant acquisition strategy, playing a key role in scaling ShopBack Pay across the market
Identify and win new business: Prospect, pitch, and close partnerships with SMB merchants, with a strong focus on high-potential segments such as F&B
Build strong merchant relationships: Act as a trusted partner to merchants — understanding their business needs and positioning ShopBack Pay as a meaningful growth lever
Stay commercially sharp: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to uncover new opportunities and refine your approach
Collaborate to deliver impact: Work closely with Operations, Account Management, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful campaign execution
Improve how we sell: Provide insights and feedback to continuously refine the sales process, making it more efficient, scalable, and effective
Deliver a great merchant experience: Support and engage partners post-signing, ensuring they see value and succeed on the ShopBack platform
Essentials to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development or Account Management, ideally within technology, e-commerce, fintech, or platform businesses
Proven ability to close deals and drive revenue growth, with a strong commercial mindset
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively articulate value propositions
Excellent interpersonal skills with solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
A self-starter with a high ownership mindset — resilient, resourceful, and driven to overcome challenges
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while managing multiple priorities with precision
Hungry and motivated to be part of building and scaling a high-growth business
Passionate about working with SMBs and making a tangible impact on their growth
Strong drive to succeed in one of the fastest-growing tech startups in the region
Experience leveraging Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Cursor) to improve productivity and workflows is a plus
