In This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for defining, documenting, and enabling standardized project controls processes across a large, complex enterprise environment. You will translate complex operational workflows into clear, usable process documentation and training materials that support digital transformation, reporting and analytics, data governance, and operational efficiency. Acting as a key partner to cross‑functional stakeholders, you will ensure processes are consistently applied, well‑governed, and aligned with enterprise systems and tools.

Responsibilities

Process Definition & Standardization

  • Define, draft, and maintain end‑to‑end process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Global Project Controls.
  • Develop detailed process flows and swimlane diagrams using Visio.
  • Translate complex operational workflows into standardized, easy‑to‑follow documentation.
  • Ensure consistent application of processes across systems, tools, and teams.

Technical & Business Documentation

  • Produce high‑quality technical and business documentation for enterprise processes and systems.
  • Develop user‑friendly materials including Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and User Guides.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, concise, consistent, and aligned with enterprise standards and controls.

Training & Enablement

  • Create training materials to support:
    • Digital transformation initiatives
    • Reporting and analytics implementations
    • New or updated process rollouts
  • Partner with change management and project teams to translate process changes into role‑specific, practical training content.

Systems & Tool Documentation

  • Develop process documentation and training materials for enterprise systems and tools, including:
    • SAP (EPPM, ECC)
    • Ariba
    • Compass
    • Icertis
    • IBP
    • SCC
    • Omega 365
  • Ensure documentation aligns with system capabilities, compliance requirements, and governance standards.

Continuous Improvement & Governance

  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support initiatives focused on process simplification, standardization, and scalability.
  • Keep documentation current as systems, tools, and processes evolve.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross‑functional teams to validate and align on documented processes.
  • Define and support process metrics, including KPIs and OKRs, and facilitate discussions to drive alignment and improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in process documentation, process controls, or operational enablement within a large enterprise environment.
  • 5–7 years of hands‑on experience with:
    • Process documentation and SOP development
    • Process flow modeling and swimlane diagrams using Visio
    • Enterprise systems documentation (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Compass, Icertis, Omega 365)
  • Strong technical and business writing skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user‑friendly guidance.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with stakeholders in areas such as project controls, finance, engineering, and supply chain.
  • Ability to work independently as an individual contributor in a fast‑paced, change‑driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.
  • Prior experience supporting digital transformation, reporting and analytics, or data governance initiatives.
  • Experience in EPC, capital projects, or other large‑scale, complex enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with organizational change management concepts and training enablement best practices.
  • Experience defining or supporting process metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Salary Range

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.

For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $31 to $34.30 USD hourly. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
