Business Development Manager

About your new role

As part of our continued growth we are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team on a permanent basis. You would be responsible for identifying and researching target companies, industries, and decision-makers to develop a pipeline of potential clients with the aim to generate additional sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you are expected to undertake the following responsibilities as part of your day to day activities:

  • Creating a new sales pipeline with prospects via phone, email and social media.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, looking for opportunities to upsell products/expand the use of services.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets by negotiating and closing sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Working with individuals around the business to prepare and deliver tailored demonstrations of our software products with the aim of securing additional business.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ideally meet these requirements:

  • Desirable: Alongside English, the ability to speak one or more of our supported languages fluently - German, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese or French.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Natural relationship builder with the ability to quickly build rapport and influence across all levels.
