The Business Development Manager (BDM) is accountable for identifying, pursuing, and securing new client opportunities that contribute to Linguava’s growth. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this role manages the full sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, presenting, and closing. The BDM develops strong relationships with prospective clients, collaborates with internal teams to design tailored solutions, and ensures new opportunities align with Linguava’s mission and service standards. By consistently demonstrating Linguava’s core values, the BDM helps expand Linguava’s impact and build long-term client partnerships.

This is a full-time position based on a standard business schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Occasional flexibility in start and end times may be needed to accommodate business needs. Primary work is performed on-site at the Portland office, with the option to work from home in accordance with company hybrid-work policies. Ability to travel (<20%) for client meetings, conferences, and industry events is required.
