Role Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and expanding the company’s portfolio across corporate and individual clients. The role requires a proactive, target-oriented professional who can identify market opportunities, nurture leads, and close deals through consultative selling and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across various insurance segments.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate and individual clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their insurance needs.
• Promote the company’s insurance products and services through meetings, presentations, and networking.
• Leverage existing client portfolios and industry connections to generate leads and achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal underwriting and operations teams to ensure seamless policy issuance and client servicing.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and differentiation.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
• Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance updates to management.

Requirements

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum of 3–5 years of business development experience within the UAE insurance industry (broking or direct).
• Proven track record of client acquisition and portfolio management in non-medical insurance lines.
• Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent understanding of UAE insurance regulations and market dynamics.
• Proactive, result-oriented professional with strong presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; Arabic or additional languages will be an advantage.
