Due to our continued growth and success, we now have an opportunity for a hardworking Business Development Manager to grow revenue amongst a core client base and to win new estate agent business for our Property Sales Team. 

What will I be doing

As a Business Development Manager you will:

  • Sell a range of advertising solutions to your client base of estate agents 

  • Build and develop new and existing relationships with your clients across the country

  • Handle the technical and account-related queries from the client base

  • Handle advertising campaigns from sale to completion

  • Work with clients and traffic management to improve campaign efficiency

  • Meet and exceed sales targets

  • Generate leads and opportunities through outbound, strategic and targeted prospecting

  • Make strategic calls to grow business from new and established relationships

  • Prospect into both cold accounts as well as into new groups, divisions, etc. of existing customers

Requirements

What skills and experience do I need?

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B account management or inside sales, with demonstrated success in upselling, cross-selling, and account retention

  • Experience in advertising sales is an advantage, but not essential

  • Experience handling renewals and contract negotiations

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through calls, email, and virtual meetings

  • Strong consultative selling and presentation skills, with the ability to identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

  • Experience managing, developing, and growing a portfolio of client accounts

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively

  • A collaborative team player, able to work cross-functionally with internal teams
