Sprintax currently provide a range of tax services to the nonresident market and has developed its first product to assist international investors to reclaim withholding tax on dividends. The product will be applicable to shareholders globally, who have been subject to a reclaimable refund. This could be an individual or an institutional investor.
Primary responsibility of the BDM, is to develop and implement the global sales and marketing plan. The individual will be responsible for the revenue and growth targets for the Sprintax Dividend product line.
The individual will work closely with the VP Sales for Sprintax and the current Sprintax Dividend team, including product experts in the US and Europe.
Salary range: $80-120k plus commission. OTE 50% on top of base.
What you will be doing:
•Develop a pipeline for Sprintax Dividends, initially looking at the following segments:
•Channel partners, who manage the portfolios of large volumes of investors, e.g. Davys, eToro, Robinhood etc
•Multinational employers, with employees who are subject to DWT, e.g. Roche, Siemens etc
•US Not For Profits, who have been subject to Canadian DWT
•Develop new routes to markets and partners over time, e.g. Global Shares, Computershare etc.
•Identification and evaluation of new product and service opportunities for Sprintax Dividend
•Work closely with the tax and product development team to expand the range of services covered
•Management and development of Hubspot database – evaluation of all opportunities, prioritization, development of sales and marketing program
•Identifying key opportunities for each target, researching contacts, developing and nurturing leads, and securing presentation opportunities
•Work closely with the marketing team to develop the marketing plan for the market, including the webinar, events and conference strategy.
•Management and reporting of sales pipeline.
•Develop the annual budget (sales, marketing, events, travel etc).
•Quarterly and annual reporting to senior management team
Requirements
•Sales and business development experience (3-5 years minimum)
•Background and basic knowledge of tax
•Entrepreneurial approach to working in a small team
•High level of attention to detail and accuracy
•Energy and enthusiasm
•Effective office, time management and organizational skills
•Excellent spoken and written English (grammar, spelling and pronunciation) and experience in presenting
•Computer literacy – knowledge of Word, above average Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
