About the Role

ICL is hiring a Business Development Manager to help expand adoption of its automotive logistics solutions among automotive OEMs, truck carriers, brokers and other logistics providers. This is a high-activity, execution-focused individual contributor role. You will be expected to generate pipeline through consistent outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn) and lead early-stage discovery conversations. This is not a leadership, account management, or enterprise-closing position.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and engage automotive carriers, brokers, and logistics providers
  • Drive outbound activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn, referrals) daily
  • Lead discovery calls to understand carrier workflows and pain points
  • Position ICL’s solutions based on each prospect’s operational needs, priorities and readiness.
  • Set up demos, pilots, and value assessments with prospects
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new carrier opportunities
  • Gather market feedback to help refine messaging, use cases and overall go-to-market approach.
  • Actively use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, enrichment platforms, sequencing tools, call intelligence) to personalize outreach at scale, analyze messaging performance, and continuously optimize pipeline conversion. Collaborate closely with product, development, and GTM leadership

What Success Looks Like

  • Builds and maintains a steady pipeline through disciplined, structured outbound activity across priority accounts.
  • Consistently generates qualified discovery meetings that progress into meaningful sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrates strong discovery skills that uncover operational pain points and position clear value.
  • Uses AI and automation tools to enhance research, personalize outreach at scale, and continuously improve conversion performance.
  • Contributes measurable pipeline and revenue impact within the logistics ecosystem.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 1–5 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or SaaS sales
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, automotive, or supply chain is a plus
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound activity.
  • Strong communicator with excellent discovery skills
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Excited about selling new, differentiated products
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve outbound efficiency or conversion rates
