We are seeking a dynamic and multilingual Business Development Manager to join our growing team. Bounce Japan is expanding rapidly and focused on finding and cultivating large partnerships that will help us in our mission to deliver the best experience for hands free travel, a ‘remote control for your things’. This role will build on top of our core business of luggage storage, help grow new business lines, and cultivate new channels for users to discover us.
Partnerships
Work closely with our New Partnership Lead to build and expand partnerships with large Enterprise brands to help us drive supply and demand growth
Build and expand partnerships with brands in the travel space for co-branded demand and supply acquisition projects
Work closely with New Acquisition, Post Sale, and Marketing teams to find opportunities in affiliate marketing opportunities to drive user acquisition
Grow our Luggage Storage partners in key transportation hubs and companies, navigating through RFP processes
New Business
Work closely with our Global Team to launch and develop new business channels
Work with our investors to unlock and translate our large network of entrepreneurs to revenue opportunities
0 to 1 launch of our Delivery and Locker business in Japan - build a winning playbook that helps us become the number one app for all things luggage
Native fluency in Japanese and Business fluency in English
5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and like-roles
Self-starter with the drive to self-manage and work towards goals and enjoying a startup working environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
Open to travel for business meetings
Nice to have: Experience in B2B in travel/real estate/last-mile delivery industries are highly welcomed
