Key Responsibilities

Core Expectations

  • Serve as a champion for both customers and internal teams

Growth & Sales Focus

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new revenue opportunities within existing accounts and new target markets
  • Manage assigned accounts while expanding the breadth and depth of customer relationships
  • Develop expert-level knowledge of products and solutions to deliver creative, profitable customer outcomes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Product Management, and Operations teams
  • Negotiate and close long-term commercial agreements
  • Own the overall success of assigned territory and customer portfolio

Reporting & Administration

  • Support sales forecasting and strategic planning initiatives
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to achieve targets
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in CRM and internal systems
  • Prepare pricing quotes, coordinate sample requests, and process sales orders in a timely manner

  • Willingness to work extended hours when required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree required)
  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience with demonstrated organic growth of 10%+ annually
  • Experience in Materials, Nonwovens, or Converting industries
  • Exposure to markets such as Filtration, Medical, Industrial, Automotive, or Composites

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven record of exceeding sales quotas and growing market share
  • Ability to present and demonstrate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and unit-conversion skills related to materials
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making ability
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM experience required

Travel

  • Up to 50% travel, including overnight travel; flexible schedule required
