Business Development Lead

TLDR

Lead business development by managing client relationships, negotiating key partnerships, and exploring new market opportunities in the telecommunications sector.

  • Managing relationship with clients, partners, and mobile operators.
  • Develop the customer portfolio of the company (Telephone operator, supplier).
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and acquire key clients/partners that would support the company’s business plan and goals.
  • Conduct market and potential clients’ research for our target category and establish a long-term positive relationship with telcos & partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to decide go-to-market strategy and execution plans to reach company goals.
  • Research and explore new business and market opportunities.
  • Prospect and qualify new leads/ Accounts
  • Track all sales and acquisition activities on the system and ensure all accounts are updated regularly
  • Communicate accounts and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Meet and/or exceed quotas within the agreed-on time frame

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • From 7 to 10 years of experience in business development in Telecom field
  • Exhibit strong experience of telecom trends in A2P and VAS with an ability to ideate and execute campaigns/products to drive growth for the business
  • Having Telecom/VAS background with good Personal Relations in Telecom companies
  • Must be comfortable with C-level negotiations and have ability to establish business relations with decision makers in industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Solution selling: Account growth. Always be looking for new ways to develop, grow and broaden the relationship with the clients.
  • Able to think out of the box in conceptualizing ideas for merchant acquisition and management - Creative and logical thinking!
  • Self-motivated and self-driven to excel and deliver. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, verbal, and written communication skills
