What’s the role about?

As a Business Development Executive, you will:

  • Drive the first stage of the sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying potential customers.
  • Book high-quality appointments for Business Development Managers (BDMs) that meet KPI targets.
  • Research and plan site visits to maximise conversion opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and produce weekly performance reports.
  • Keep momentum high by ensuring BDM diaries are consistently filled with strong leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify leads through proactive outreach and research.
  • Book fixed appointments for BDMs, ensuring quality and relevance.
  • Manage CRM systems to maintain 100% data accuracy.
  • Respond promptly to diary and lead requests.
  • Deliver agreed KPI targets for qualified appointments each week.

Requirements

  • Experienced in business development/lead generation, including research.
  • Strong communicator via telephone and email, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Proactive, resilient, and motivated by team success.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with clear KPIs.
  • Ideally experienced in construction, merchant sectors, or related sectors (but open to other backgrounds).
  • Confident using CRM and scheduling tools.
