About the Role

Our business development team helps pharma and biotech customers understand the deep impact that AI-powered clinical trials that reach full enrollment faster can bring to their business. This role requires a mixture of technical understanding, visionary selling, relationship building, and executing on value-driven strategy. You’ll own your accounts and be the key driver of opportunities from lead generation to close. Internally you’ll work with machine learning scientists, data scientists, engineers, and clinical researchers to help customers evolve their industry with AI. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in enterprise sales using superb “hunting” skills to reach key stakeholders in target accounts. This role is based either in our HQ in San Francisco, CA or in Boston, MA and requires travel.

Responsibilities

  • Persuade customers to use Unlearn’s AI-powered clinical trials. 
  • Own sales goals and use grit and determination to meet them.
  • Manage revenue generation from booked contracts by being the go-to account lead and trusted liaison with customers.
  • Closely monitor the industry landscape (people, competitors, partners, etc.) to contribute to our product roadmap and other corporate strategies.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with teammates in technology, science, business development, finance, and operations to help drive Unlearn’s success.

Requirements

  • Complete a culture assessment here as part of the application process
  • Selling platform-as-a-service and/or software-as-a-service at a technology-led growth company.
  • Achieving sales targets >$3M per year for more than 5 years.
  • Designing and executing complex deal strategies.
  • Being a key contributor in high-visibility customer events (conferences, product launches, etc.).
  • Supporting the growth of fast-growing, high-performance startup companies.
  • Gathering, distilling, and processing market intelligence to help drive sales.
  • Travel 25-50% of time or as needed for business needs.
