As a Business Development & Channel Executive, you will be responsible for driving demand for Promethean solutions within a defined territory.
Your role will focus on building strong relationships with end customers and reseller partners, primarily in the education sector, while also supporting opportunities in other public and private verticals.
You will act as a trusted commercial representative of Promethean, working closely with partners and internal teams to create sustainable pipeline growth in the German-speaking market.
Primary focus: Business development and demand generation
Secondary focus: Partner enablement and channel collaboration
Market: German-speaking region (DACH)
Base Range: €58,000 - €79,860 + Commission Eligible
Responsibilities:
Research and analyse the assigned territory to identify potential end customers showing intent to purchase interactive flat panel displays (IFPD) and related solutions
Proactively create sales opportunities by presenting and evangelising the Promethean value proposition
Secure and conduct customer meetings and presentations, both on-site and virtually
Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, school groups, and regional education authorities, including ministries and public-sector institutions, as well as developing additional contacts within the corporate sector.
The role is carried out as required in a remote home-office setup, at customer sites and trade fairs, or at the office in Essen.
Enable partners through product orientation and joint customer engagements
Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure successful delivery and implementation of solutions
Deliver high-quality presentations to customers and partners
Participate in trade shows, events, and demonstrations to increase awareness of Promethean products and services
Where appropriate, support post-sale orientation sessions for larger projects to ensure successful adoption and identify follow-up sales opportunities
Building and maintaining key contacts within educational institutions and relevant market influencers, as well as within the corporate sector.
Achieve and exceed revenue targets while maintaining contribution margin and high customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or channel-focused roles
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Experience or strong interest in the education, AV, or public-sector market
Self-driven, well-organised, and comfortable working independently
Ability to quickly learn and effectively position technical products and solutions
Basic technical understanding of hardware and software solutions
Fluent English
