The Business Development Associate is responsible for new business acquisition, and onboarding of clients.
He/She will be responsible for generating, qualifying, nurturing and closing potential leads for the cold chain delivery services that Ninja Van Singapore provides. During the onboarding period, sales associate are expected to resolve all issues that may arise from client’s unfamiliarity of our services, to align client expectations with operational service levels.
Job Responsibility:
New Business Acquisition
Schedule meetings with potential prospects to understand service requirements of clients
Acquire new clients to increase country revenue
Pitch operational requests to internal stakeholders to help meet clients’ requirements and SLAs
Prepare sales proposals, presentation decks, profitability analysis and contract documents
Compliance to sales process and legal compliance
Educate clients on the basic requirements of Ninja Van’s service
Lead Generation and Qualification
Creatively seek and reach out to key decision makers of potential leads
Respond to and qualify inbound leads in a timely manner
Import and maintain data of leads in Salesforce CRM
Ensure that clients’ business is a good fit for Ninja Van
Account Management
Build and maintain positive working relationships and strong rapport with accounts for high account retention and client satisfaction
Identify ways to increase sales revenue and wallet shares with existing accounts
Monitor and ensure promised delivery SLAs are met
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with external and internal operations teams to ensure required resources and operational support is available to them and their team
Job Requirement:
Proven track record in sales or business development, with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth, especially in a supply chain-related company or F&B related company.
Good to have knowledge of the F&B space, particularly in frozen foods or consumer packaged goods
