In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.
Together we define white space, push boundaries and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma.
Who You Are
A highly motivated, intellectually curious, and ambitious incoming university junior, university senior (preference), or Master’s student with an interest in biopharma and finding ever better ways to serve patients. You are comfortable learning quickly in ambiguous environments, asking thoughtful questions, and taking ownership of work that matters. You are excited by responsibility, exposure to senior leaders, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully rather than observe from the sidelines.
A small, highly selective group of summer interns will join BridgeBio and work closely with the head of the internship program while gaining direct exposure to leaders across the company. Interns will take ownership of a term-long project sponsored by the CEO, alongside additional projects with senior leaders across multiple functions, including commercial, strategic finance, and research subsidiaries. Throughout the internship, the program will place a strong emphasis on education, growth, and professional development, with the goal of building a durable foundation for a career in biopharma.
Responsibilities
• Be ready to absorb information at a rapid pace.
• Given the brief nature of this role, emphasis will be placed on rapidly getting interns up to speed to encourage meaningful experience.
• With the unique nature of industry knowledge, interns will be expected to learn effectively through both direction and experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Formulate and communicate novel ideas.
• Interns will provide valuable insights and direction in their time with the company, employing their research and unique skill set to offer novel perspectives.
• Research conclusions will be presented meaningfully and effectively to senior leadership.
• Remain accountable and maintain an “ownership mindset” over projects.
• Interns will be given a variety of projects and will be held to a high standard in their execution of them.
• They will be expected to perform these tasks in a timely manner and will remain accountable to the leaders to which they report.

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements:
• Experience: Professional experience in a high-intensity, fast-paced working environment
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: A track record of experimenting with high-risk, high-reward initiatives
• Cultural Fit: Energetic, resourceful, and scrappy, with a “hustle harder” mindset
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Rising 3rd or 4th year undergraduate actively pursuing a B.A. or B.S. in a life science or engineering related concentration, or Master’s student pursuing a life science or engineering related concentration
• Exceptional academic track record and GPA
