Becoming an IXON Business Developer requires a strategic mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for developing your own region. You will report directly to Simone Ferriani and work with a high degree of autonomy. The primary focus of this role is the acquisition of new customers.

Within this role, your core responsibilities include:

  • New Customer Acquisition: Identifying and profiling the remaining machine builders in the region and executing sales strategies to win new business.

  • Independent Management: Taking full ownership of your territory, making your own decisions, and setting priorities with a mature work ethic.

  • Extensive Travel: Being frequently on the road to meet prospects and builders across Central and Southern Italy.

  • Remote Collaboration: Operating effectively in a fully remote setup while maintaining strong communication with the HQ and the Revenue Pillar.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within technical or industrial environments.

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree or a relevant technical diploma.

  • Mindset: A strong customer-first approach, excellent listening skills, and empathy to understand complex decision-making processes.

  • Location: You are based in the Marche region, specifically in the Ancona, Pesaro Urbino, or Macerata area.

  • Languages: You are a native Italian speaker with good written and spoken English skills.

  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools, technology, and CRM software.

  • License: A valid Category B driver’s license is required for extensive travel.

  • Bonus points: Previous experience in SaaS, IoT, Industrial Cloud solutions, or selling electronic devices.
