Business Controller (Network Access)

Your Role  

As Business Controller in Network Access, you will serve as the financial partner to our Network Access organization, which manages emnify’s global roaming and connectivity partnerships. You will take end to end ownership of controlling and analyzing complex telecom cost streams, ensuring accuracy while turning data into clear business insight. Beyond monthly cost control and forecasting, you will track key KPIs, assess cost drivers and traffic trends, and evaluate how network and roaming decisions impact profitability. This role combines hands-on financial rigor with deep analytical thinking, enabling informed operational and strategic decisions at senior level. 

This role is based in Metro Manila. The team currently meets in person once per week and candidates must be able to attend these in-person sessions.

Your Impact 

• Control financial performance: Guarantee cost accuracy, margin visibility, reliable month end closings, and robust reconciliations across all roaming activities.
• Drive data-informed decisions: Transform complex operational and cost data into clear financial insights that guide sourcing, partner strategy, and profitability assessments.
• Optimize efficiency: Implement automation and standardized dashboards that improve process quality, reduce errors, and accelerate reporting cycles.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, GTM, and Data teams to align forecasts, standardize reporting, and strengthen financial governance within network operations.  

Your Skills   

• Strong experience in cost controlling, FP&A, or financial analysis with ownership of a cost domain or business area.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify root causes, and translate findings into clear business conclusions.
• Experience with financial controls including reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience building structured reports or dashboards for stakeholders using BI or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Superset, Looker).
• Experience in telecom, roaming, or other usage-based cost environments is a strong advantage.
