The Business Continuity Planning Analyst will partner with key business stakeholders across our client’s business units and programs. This integral role will assist with the implementation of a world-class BC Program. The candidate requires a good understanding of adaptive business continuity planning strategy, emerging technology platforms and business operations. This employee will assist in developing technology driven solutions for the business continuity program to improve resiliency and the client’s people, assets reputation.

  • Build sustainable working relationships with critical business teams
  • Partner with business stakeholders to conduct risk-based functional business impact analysis and prioritize development of business continuity plans for the most critical activities
  • Map systems and business process integrations that support Meta’s technology products and services. This may include an understanding of the resilience of outsourced providers and/or entities critical to the business.
  • Facilitate development and execution of continuity exercises for business teams
  • Coordinate business continuity and application recovery gap analysis and remediation exercises between business teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on periodic training and awareness initiatives.
  • Be the SME on crisis activations that might impact the delivery of the enterprises’ technology products and services to end-users.
  • Support third-party/outsourced business continuity risk management projects where necessary.
  • Other resiliency tasks as assigned by Manager.

Requirements

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional with the ability of working in a fast-paced environment
  • 5+ years of work experience in Business Continuity planning
  • Business Continuity certification from DRI or BCI, nice to have
  • 5+ years of work experience in an operation, project coordination, consulting, or equivalent environment
  • 5+ years of work experience coordinating projects with cross-functional partners
  • Experience communicating to a variety of audiences
  • Experience developing and documenting procedures and workflows
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with collaborative tools such Confluence, SharePoint, Wiki
  • Ability to communicate effectively and adapt quickly
  • Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills combined with strong business acumen and technical ability
  • Bachelor's degree required

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-95,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
