The position and your daily adventures

This is a full-time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model, therefore we are looking forward to seeing you in our office 2-3 times per week. 

The Business Architect will play a key role in ensuring accurate data flows, measurable performance, and scalable operational structures that support Collections strategy. We are looking for someone who can own projects end-to-end in a fast-moving startup environment with high exposure and impact.

What you can expect:

• Own and continuously improve Credit Bureau-related processes within Collections, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and operational robustness.
• Map, document, and optimize end-to-end workflows across bureau reporting and Collections products.
• Design and enhance reporting frameworks to track portfolio performance, operational efficiency, and recovery outcomes.
• Define and monitor performance metrics for internal and external operational teams, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Establish governance structures and standardized reporting for operational performance, payments tracking, and incentive schemes.
• Build dashboards, alerts, and monitoring systems to proactively detect risks and performance gaps.
• Lead analytical initiatives to understand delinquency behavior, segmentation opportunities, and operational drivers.
• Identify structural process gaps and propose scalable, data-driven improvements.
• Automate reporting and manual workflows using SQL and internal tools.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Credit, and Product to ensure alignment between data, processes, and strategic objectives.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Informatics or related field.
• Strong SQL skills (advanced)
• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, structured data analysis).
• Experience working with data in operational or analytical roles. 
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment. 
• Advanced English level
• Python and Tableau experience is a plus
