Position Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in banking/financial services and the ability to read and interpret Python code. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, with hands-on experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA. This is a hybrid role requiring local candidates who can be onsite three days a week in Jersey City, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between business units and development teams.

• Analyze and interpret technical requirements and business needs.

• Read and understand Python code to support solution validation and issue analysis.

• Document user stories, workflows, and functional specifications.

• Support project tracking and issue resolution using JIRA.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of financial applications.

• Provide subject matter expertise in banking or financial services domains.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 5–15 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.

• Ability to read and comprehend Python code.

• Strong background in the banking or financial services industry.

• Hands-on experience with JIRA for backlog and task management.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Local to the Jersey City, NJ area (within 45 miles).

• This is a W2-only position

• Candidate must be able to work onsite 3 days per week in Jersey City, NJ.
