We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team, specializing in SaaS solutions for the Alternative Asset Management sector. The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing our software solutions for data workflow and analytics, trading, and portfolio management, working closely with clients, gathering requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and understand their needs and objectives
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for the development team
• Ensure all requirements are clearly communicated and understood by all parties involved
• Work closely with software development teams
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of implemented solutions
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the software meets business needs and quality standards
• Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to support decision-making processes
• Provide training and support to end-users on new software features and functionalities

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in business analysis within the alternative investment and SaaS/software product space
• Strong understanding of public market securities (Equity, Fixed Income, Equity Derivates, etc) along with trade life cycle - Subject Matter Expert in the field
• Strong understanding of SaaS solutions and their application in trading and portfolio management
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English language
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or CFA designation is a plus
