Business Analyst - Resolution planning (financial industry)

  • Lead the development of resolution plans in compliance with regulatory requirements for financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to the firm's structure, operations, and financial positions.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with resolution strategies and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Prepare documentation and reports to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders, including regulators.
  • Participate in resolution planning exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of proposed strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to resolution planning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the financial industry, with a focus on resolution planning.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to resolution plans for financial institutions.
  • Experience in risk assessment and management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
