Job Description:

  • Requirement Gathering & Documentation:
    • Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
    • Develop comprehensive technical and functional specifications that align with product goals and customer needs.
    • Maintain and update product documentation, including workflows, data models, and use cases.
  • Technical Liaison:
    • Act as a conduit between product development and engineering teams to ensure alignment on technical specifications.
    • Assist in the evaluation of technical feasibility of proposed solutions and ensure they meet business and product requirements.
    • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Product Development Support:
    • Work closely with the Product Development team to ensure product specifications are adhered to throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Assist in testing and validation of products to ensure they meet specifications and requirements.
    • Participate in product backlog grooming sessions to refine and prioritize requirements.
  • Data Analysis & Insights:
    • Analyze product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Provide insights on customer behavior, market trends, and product performance to inform future product development decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with design, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product development.
    • Support project managers in tracking and delivering on project timelines related to product specifications.
  • KeyPerformance Indicators (KPIs):
    • Accuracy and clarity of technical and product specifications.
    • Timely delivery of requirement documents and product specs.
    • Successful collaboration with technical and product teams, resulting in smooth product development.
    • Number of enhancements or product solutions delivered that meet business requirements.
    • Efficiency in issue resolution during product testing phases.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a product development or technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and product management.
  • Proficiency in creating technical documents, including use cases, user stories, and process flows.
  • Familiarity with database systems, APIs, and technical integration processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
