Role: Business Analyst (Private Banking System)
Job Description
• 4 to 6 years relevant work experience in Financial institutions preferred but not mandatory
• Business Analysis experience with a leading consulting firm within financial services with prior testing experience would be advantageous
• Strong analytical skills, numerically competent
• Business analysis and functional specification design experience
• System implementation/ projects and testing experience
• Understand data flows and business processes
• Software experience in Odyssey Triple A+/ Temenos Connect (or similar Portfolio Management System) is advantageous
• Direct experience and understanding of Private Banking/Wealth Management business, products, asset classes, and front office/back office operations is preferred
• Experience with Principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of the testing process. Understanding of the test life cycle and defect management process.
• Experience in execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects
• Communication, influencing and relationship-building, at all levels - Experience in working directly with Application Development Lead, Project Managers in IT as well as business users.
• Familiar with Unix environment and scripting preferred
• Experience in Sybase SQL preferred
• Experience in supporting End of Day Batch programs using Control-M tools
• Experience in vendor and contractor management
