As a Business Analyst, you will analyse the business domain and optimise business performance through the effective application of technology. You will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure that business needs are correctly translated into high-quality, scalable IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse, document, prioritise, and validate business and solution requirements
- Prepare and maintain Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)
- Organise and facilitate workshops (on-site and online)
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses
- Collaborate with system analysts, solution architects, developers, testers, and technical writers to ensure shared understanding and solution quality
- Produce and maintain business analysis artefacts, including:
- Use cases
- Requirements
- Mock-ups
- User stories
- Data models
- Verify and validate requirements and manage requirements traceability
- Create and maintain models using Sparx Enterprise Architect
- Write user and system documentation
- Prepare and conduct user training
- Support testing activities by contributing to test plans and test cases
- Assist business users in structuring applications according to information architecture best practices
- Support the Project Manager and, when required, assume the role of Project Manager
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within IT solutions
- Strong experience with UML (Unified Modelling Language)
- Solid knowledge of business analysis techniques
- Up-to-date knowledge of the IT domain and emerging technologies
- Experience working with Agile and/or DevOps practices
- Strong analytical skills, including:
- Synthesising large amounts of information
- Problem-solving
- Managing incomplete or conflicting requirements
- Strong communication skills, including presentation skills, targeted communication, and active listening
- Knowledge of business analysis best practices (e.g. BABOK)
- Understanding of GDPR
- Experience with:
- Visual modelling and design tools (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect)
- BPMN and/or ArchiMate
- Work item management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, TFS, Jira)
- Experience with project management
Education and Professional Experience
- University degree with minimum 4 years of experience in IT
OR
- Non-university degree with minimum 7 years of experience in IT
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in business analysis
Certification

Mandatory: CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) or equivalent third-party certification
