About the position:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst Intern to join our MSME Team.
This is a unique role that combines business analysis with hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The intern will play a critical dual role:
- AI Focus: You will be directly responsible for training and refining a new AI Agent, which is a key strategic project for the division. This involves preparing, labeling, and validating data to improve the agent's accuracy and performance.
- BA Focus: You will support the MSME team with core business analyst task, including data analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, including improving business process using AI to help us better serve our MSME clients.

As a Business Analyst Intern, you will not just be an observer; you will be an integral part of the product and business teams. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, helping us optimize processes, launch new features for Amar Bank Business, and make data-driven decisions that impact millions of users. Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering: Assist senior BAs in gathering and documenting business requirements (BRD) from stakeholders to ensure clear communication with the engineering team.
Data Analysis & Insights: Perform deep-dive analysis on product performance, user behavior, and operational metrics using Excel/Google Sheets (and potentially SQL).
Market Research: Conduct competitor benchmarking and industry research to identify trends and opportunities for product improvement.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered features meet business requirements and quality standards before launch.
Process Improvement: Map out current business processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for automation and efficiency improvement.
Requirements:
Major: Preferred backgrounds in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or Economics.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to process complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets is a must.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian. You must be able to articulate ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mindset: A self-starter with a "can-do" attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment.
You have prior internship experience in a Startup, Fintech, or Banking industry.
You understand Performance Marketing: You are familiar with marketing funnels and key metrics (e.g., CAC, CPL, Conversion Rates) and how they impact business profitability.
You have experience in leadership roles within student organizations.
