As Business Analyst you will be in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders, clarifying business needs, requirements management and solution evaluation, to deliver business value in a fast-growing business (initiatives and releases).

This means that you will – for one or more solutions:

  • Identify potential improvements: to elicit, analyse, challenge and document all business needs.
  • Identify the business consequences and risks with solution alternatives for process, organisation, tools and information.
  • Assure quality and traceability of stakeholder needs and business requirements and support the evaluation of solution alternatives.
  • Communicate, clarify and safeguard evolving business needs along a project or solution life cycle.
  • Clarify business needs during definition and validation of high level & low-level design in cooperation with architects and developers.
  • Review test plans and test cases to ensure compliance to the requirements. Support the planning and execution of testing activities.
  • Responsible for securing and handing over requirement related artefacts to development and line organisation.

  • We believe you have extensive knowledge and experience in business analysis and modelling, requirements management process according to BABOK.
  • You have excellent analytical skills. You are able to see the big picture as well as the details, find patterns and to structure complex information.
  • You are eager to work in a global environment, to learn and to know “Why”.
  • You have knowledge and experience working within large-scale ERP solution, Infor M3, within the Finance domain.
  • We believe you have knowledge of test methods and tools with focus on acceptance testing as well as understanding of unit, system and integration testing.
  • You have excellent listening skills, able to interact with stakeholders – understand them and their needs as well as making them understand you.
  • You act as role model for IKEA values and you have strong communication skills and the ability to build trustful relationships.

You are able to work in an environment where the pre-conditions may change from one day to another and where we need to deliver these changes within short notice.

We also believe you have: 

  • University degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in working with global and/or remote teams
  • NOTE for Switzerland: Due to long permit process we prefer candidates with valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship
