Natixis in Portugal is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Business Analyst (French Speaker) to join its BPCE SI (Solutions Informatiques) team. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis within the banking sector and be proficient in both French and English. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements in both French and English.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business units and project teams to ensure alignment and understanding of business objectives.
  • Conduct detailed business analysis, including gap analysis, process mapping, and data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements and gain consensus on project deliverables.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on industry best practices and trends, particularly within the banking sector.
  • Support the project management team in tracking project progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts in best practices and methodologies.

Hard Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business process reengineering.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, UML).
  • Knowledge of banking products, regulations, and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly (mandatory).

Soft Skills:

 

  • Strong analytical independently and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive communication with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements.
