About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing WealthTech / SaaS company operating at the intersection of wealth management, asset management, engineering, and professional services, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to strengthen their billing operations and contract management processes. The ideal candidate will evaluate existing workflows, implement process improvements, and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all billing- and contract-related functions. This role will collaborate closely with finance, legal, engineering, and operations teams to streamline systems, enhance visibility, and support scalable growth in a complex, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current billing and contract management processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities

  • Develop and implement process enhancements that increase accuracy, scalability, and client satisfaction

  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Engineering, Professional Services, and Operations to gather requirements and ensure alignment on billing and contract strategies

  • Create, update, and maintain documentation for billing procedures, contract templates, internal workflows, and operational policies

  • Monitor invoice status, track outstanding payments, and investigate or resolve discrepancies and client issues

  • Support the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of new systems, automation tools, and technologies related to billing and contract management

  • Conduct data analysis to provide insights that support operational decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and contract governance frameworks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within SaaS, FinTech, WealthTech, or financial services environments

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities

  • Experience in documenting processes, creating workflows, and standardizing operational procedures

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, modeling fundamentals)

  • Familiarity with billing systems, contract management platforms, CRM tools, or financial operations software

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and operational rigor

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with billing automation tools, CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) systems, or ERP platforms

  • Background supporting financial operations in a SaaS or WealthTech environment

  • Experience analyzing operational and financial KPIs and building dashboards

  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
